AL-WARDAH (Used Cooking Oil). A Community Project. By SMK Taman Dato Harun

Our project is producing aromatic candles and soap from used cooking oil. Do you know why we use used cooking oil? This is because people will normally throw away cooking oil after they use it for a couple of times. Using cooking oil more than three times can be harmful to health. So we decided to produce candles and soap from used cooking oil. By using used cooking oil we can save the environment. Our product name is AROMA'C. The products of AROMA'C can be in any kind of shapes and colours.

The fund we need is RM17800. RM3300 for marketing efforts such as traditional and modern media usage. RM3200 for packaging improvements to make our products more exclusive RM6500 for research and development funds to be able to provide a comprehensive review and product improvement. Another RM3200 for human resource and RM1600 for materials needed such as used cooking oil, rope, hardening agent and colouring.

We would encourage you to connect your Facebook with pitchIN before you pitch to the project. If not, your pitch will be identified as "anonymous" in the Project Page. However, if you choose to pitch anonymously, pitchIN would still have your information. We think it would be just awesome if we can see and identify our supporters in the wall of pitchers.

A pitcher/pledger does not need a PayPal account to pitch or pledge. What he/she needs is a credit card (Mastercard/Visa) or a debit card.

However, if you are not comfortable doing an online pitch/pledge - you can transfer the money directly to the pitchIN account as follows:

Maybank 564892100684

WATCHTOWER AND FRIENDS SDN BHD is the company that owns and runs pitchIN.

However, the person must send pitchIN the proof of transfer by attaching the receipt to the email address: with the Subject Heading: AL WARDAH. Upon receiving that, the folks at pitchIN can then quickly update the project page.

Thank you again and we do hope you will support the project!
