For Projects

If you have an idea and the passion to start a project, and need money to make it work, pitchIN is the place for you.

Funding is for creative and community projects only - A project has a clear goal, like publishing a book, or producing a music album; that will eventually be completed, and something will be produced by it. A project has a deadline. Launching an acting career is not a project.

Projects must fit into categories - At the moment pitchIN can be used to fund projects from the creative fields of Technology; Arts & Design; Games; Photography; Film & Video; Music; Theatre; Food & Beverage; Environmental; Research; Fashion; Comics; Photography; Community; Education and Publishing only.

No "fund my life" projects - You cannot raise funds at pitchIN to pay for your colleges fees (at least for now) or bills, go on vacation, or buy that watch that you always wanted.

No prohibited items or subject matter - There are things that are not allowed here on pitchINwhich includes things like alcohol, drugs, pornography, and others. Please see the list of prohibited items/subject matter.

1. Alcohol
2. Contests (entry fees, prize money, within your project to encourage support, etc)
3. Cosmetics
4. Drugs, drug-like substances, drug paraphernalia, tobacco, etc
5. Financial incentives (ownership, share of profits, repayment/loans, etc)
6. Items not directly produced by the project or its creator (no offering things from the garage, repackaged existing products, holidays, etc)
7. Multilevel marketing and pyramid programs
8. Offensive material (hate speech, inappropriate content, etc)
9. Projects endorsing or opposing a political candidate
10. Pornographic material
11. Raffles, lotteries, and sweepstakes
12. Promoting or glorifying acts of violence

The Community

Our goal is to create a safe and comfortable environment for everyone by encouraging respectful interactions to ensure that pitchIN is a friendly place. Please follow these rules:

1. Publicize, but don't spam. Spam includes sending unsolicited messages to people on Twitter, posting on other people's Facebook walls etc. You will look bad; we at pitchIN will also look bad.
2. Don't promote a project on other projects' pages. Your comments will be deleted and your account may be suspended.
3. Be courteous and respectful. Don't troll, harass or abuse other members.
4. Don't post obscene, hateful, or objectionable content. If you do we will remove it and suspend you.
5. Don't post copyrighted content without permission. Only post content that you have the rights to.
6. If you don't like a project, don't back it. Play nice, don't condemn it. Perhaps, help?

Actions that violate these rules or our Terms of Use may lead to an account being suspended or deleted
