To put on a three-day production workshop for prospective filmmakers in Kuala Lumpur, we need to fund RM20,000. Equipment rentals, hall fees, food costs, and teacher salaries are all included here.

The Impact

Our mission is to give promising young creatives a place to hone their craft, connect with like-minded individuals, and give voice to their own personal tales. We have been working in film for over 25 years and are dedicated to passing on what we've learned to the next generation of filmmakers. With your help, we can encourage and enable young artists to follow their passions, which will have a profoundly good effect on the local film industry.
Risks and Challenges
There are dangers and difficulties in any creative endeavour. Given that we'll be working with a group of bright individuals, each of whom is likely to have a full calendar, it's possible that scheduling conflicts may be one of the main obstacles we face during the workshop. Although these obstacles may prevent us from putting on a perfect workshop, we have a plan in place to overcome them.
As the course's instructor and director, I bring a wealth of knowledge from my own work on film sets and in leading creative teams. I am positive that I can see this project through no matter what challenges we face.
In addition, we promise to be always open and communicative with our contributions. It is our firm belief that the best way to face issues and earn the trust of our backers is to be completely transparent with them.
